If you’re facing Marikina, San Mateo and Antipolo then the mountain range you’re seeing is the Sierra Madre mountain range. Just beyond Marikina is the Upper Marikina River Basin and beyond that is Sierra Madre, which is the catch basin of all water from typhoons coming from the pacific. If you love trekking and hiking, the Sierra Madre is a good place to explore. Antipolo used to be known for its swimming locations due to its proximity to the water reservoirs of Marikina.

Those mountains are callled siera madre which basically a must visit place, Its underated place to go since all the tourist where invited to go to palawan and cebu something like that however watching these video seems your really and adventures type of guy and would recommend visit those mountain. Specially if you know how to ride a bike, 1st place to visit is calle marilaque highway which has the most beautiful sceneries, secondly there where lots of falls that you must visit and your 1st stop should be from daranak falls. Manila as what you know is NOT Manila ONLY, but Metro Manila, which consist of 16 cities, like city of Manila, Makati city, Mandaluyong city, Taguig city, Pasig city, Quezon city, Las Pinas city, Marikina city, Caloocan city, Navotas city, San Juan city, Muntinlupa city, city of Malabon, Valenzuela city, Pasay city, Paranaque city, and 1 municipality which is Pateros.

That's Ortigas business district, 100+ hectares.

Dany, you are absolutely right about some groups of Filipinos who look quite different from others. I noticed it also when I was there. I went to Pampanga and it was like I was in a different country. They were mostly light skinned and very good looking and most of them dressed well. Not sure why they were fair skinned, don’t they get the same sun??? Maybe they are from a different tribe. I wish somebody here can explain to me about the beautiful people of Pampanga🤔

Dear Sri Lanka, I visited your country this year. I was treated with racism and disrespect by too many. Pick pocketed two times. A third attempt became a snatching on the trains. I had to hit him to make him back off. Someone tried to break into my room one night. The constant scams and overcharging. Everyone thinks you're rich because you're white. I've traveled many, many countries, and Sri Lanaka is the worst experience. Go visit somewhere safer with less racism and better hospitality. Sri Lanka is vastly overrated. Oh, I was groped in Kandy during a black out by a guy. Never happened anywhere before, not even in India. Never felt so unsafe traveling solo anywhere in the world.

I am not quite sure why people think that "Modernity" is the apex of civilization. My parents grew up in a Sri Lanka which would be considered "backward". They lived in low slung bungalows with afternoon tea. Doors were always open for friends and visitors to drop by for a chat. The literacy rate was very high, one of the highest in Asia, schooling was free to the university level as was healthcare. Not yet a consumer culture, nor one of high rise buildings but one filled with seething and rich human interactions.
